Crackers
The crackers were born out of necessity during the pandemic when we couldn’t get into Farmers Markets. So we hosted picnics and hikes on the farm, and made crackers for grab-n-go cheeseboards. Our field wasn’t yet producing, so Janis - our Exec. Chef & Co-Owner - began foraging from the fields. Stinging Nettle was everywhere, and wanting to learn more, she researched what to do with it and our Nettle Salt was born.
So many customers loved them, they wanted to be able to take them home - so we began making them, one at a time on a Kitchen Aid mixer attachment. We’ve upgraded slightly to a larger dough roller - but we still make them by hand in our farm kitchen. Each cracker is cut out by hand and baked fresh weekly.
These crackers are perfect for cheeseboards, snacks, soups, and crumbled on top of Mac N Cheese. Fair warning - you can’t eat just one!

Apple Butters
Our Apple Butter began more than a decade ago in our home in a suburb of Cleveland, OH. Busy with city life and kids, we made it once a year for friends, family, and gifts who would jokingly say - “you should sell this stuff!”. Fast Forward to a farm in Vermont, a small orchard and big dreams we now make cases of it all year long.
While demand has grown faster than our Apple Trees, we source only Vermont Eco-Certified Apples if we need to supplement our own supply.
Choose from Classic or our most popular, Maple Bourbon featuring Organic Vermont Maple Syrup from the farm on the other side of the hill, and Rectified Bourbon distilled less than 50 miles from the farm in Shelburne.

Granolas
When we lived in Cleveland, Janis worked for a non-profit that made meals for cancer patients and their families. At the time our son Grady, only about 4 years old, would come in and help make Granola to sell in their retail store for income to support the mission.
Grady wanted to make something to sell at Farmers Markets and be a part of our new farm adventure, so we started selling that same Granola here in Vermont. His signature recipe is Grady’s Great Granola, with Honey & Dark Chocolate and is our most popular flavor.
Customers were asking for different flavors, and in 2021 the opportunity arose to purchase the Vermont Maple Granola Co. An artisan small batch granola company a decade old, it fit well into our kitchen and we’re proud to continue the tradition. We now have 6 flavors sold in retail bags, and 7 bulk varieties.
